Camp Fire has over a century of experience helping our youth thrive. Camp Fire’s highly-trained, caring staff encourage every child or teen to manage their time in a way that aligns with their passions and talents. Our staff also gather youth input to incorporate in activities so they can better engage them each day.
In an after-school setting, we provide a quality program to enhance your child's learning in school and enrich their knowledge. The program is designed to offer academic support in the areas of math and literacy. Our staff work closely with your child's teacher to assure your child receives the support needed for their homework. Our staff is also keeping up to date on your child’s progress in school.
In conjunction with our academic support, Camp Fire's Thrive{ology} curriculum inspires our age-specific, growth mindset-based programs, which provide youth with a nurturing, stimulating environment fostered by caring volunteers and staff. The activities are hands-on, project-based learning which focus on increased confidence, leadership, social skills, honesty, responsibility, and respect. In addition, the program includes a health and fitness component focusing on cooperative group games and cardiovascular health as well as nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
Camp Fire Inland Southern California is currently offering the ASES Star Program at Cambridge Elementary, Handy Elementary, and Yorba Middle School, all located in the City of Orange in conjunction with the Orange Unified School District.
