Executive Director/CEO
Sandra began her career with Camp Fire in 1999. Though the years she has developed her career by fundraising, grant writing, developing new program, increasing the capacity of existing programs and board and volunteer development.
She has her associate’s degree from Chaffey College in Liberal Arts and her bachelors from University of La Verne in Organizational Management. She was on the dean’s list and graduated with departmental honors.
Over the years, her community involvement has included several board of director positions, including President Rotary Club of La Verne, Vice President of the Montclair Chamber of Commerce, Charter President of the Venture Club of the Inland Valley, Pacific Region Secretary for Venture Club of the Americas, Board Member for Neighborhood Partnership of Montclair, Vice President of Alvarado Intermediate School PTA, and an accreditation visitor with American Camp Association.
She was honored the Venturist of the year from her Venture Club peers and in 2007 she was nominated Woman of the Year for the National Association of Women Business Owners Inland Empire Chapter.
Sandra an alumnus of Camp Fire Inland Southern California. She participated in the council’s Blue Bird program back in the early 70’s.
Bookkeeper/HR Administrator
Damari started with Camp Fire in 2015. She has her Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting from Cal State San Bernardino. She has almost a decade of successful experience in bookkeeping and HR. Damari is strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace. During tax season she volunteers her time filing taxes for low-income individuals who needs assistance. Her professional goal is to become an auditor. She enjoys a good Netflix binge but can also be found spending time with her chihuahua “Passion” and her family in Arizona.
Senior Program Director
George is the Senior Program Director for Camp Fire ISC. He has been with Camp Fire since 2010. George started as an instructor and worked his way up to supervisor in his first year working at Camp Fire. He previously had worked with other school districts and non-profits where he acquired many skills and knowledge of working with youth. George graduated from Estancia High School in Costa Mesa. He earned an AA Degree in Social Science and is pursuing on completing his BA in Early Childhood Education. George is very involved with his program and runs some of the enrichment programs himself do to his knowledge. He teaches dance and shows students how to use the DJ equipment. George is passionate about helping the youth of Orange County be involved both at their school and in the community. George received two awards in 2016: The “Chapter Excellence Award” thru OCDE California Friday Night Live Partnership and the “Empowering Youth Through Education Award” thru Camp Fire. A quote that would best describe him would be:” Love the life you live, live the life you love” Bob Marley.
Junior Program Director
Danya is the Junior Program Director for Camp Fire ISC. She has worked for Camp Fire Inland Southern California since 2019 as an after school site supervisor and started her position of Junior Program Director in 2022. Danya has also worked for the YMCA as teacher’s aide and the California Department of Education as a substitute Administrative.
She graduated from Norco Community College with her A.S. in Business Administration and then transferred to California State University of San Bernardino to obtain her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource. She is also currently taking courses to expand her skills.
During her free time, she loves to walk and play with his two dogs. Her hobbies include learning to do new things from scratch. She enjoys being active and going out on adventures with family, friends and her two dogs.
